Palakurthi Women Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at H. No 1/75 in Palakurthy. It’s a small operation, but we stay busy. We are a group of women from the area who decided to work together on the farming side of things. There’s a lot to do when you’re managing production and sales. We don't have a huge office with glass walls or shiny floors. It’s just a regular house, H. No 1/75, where we meet and plan. Sometimes we sit on the porch to talk when the weather is nice. We discuss seeds, prices, and the weather. The weather is always a big topic here in Palakurthy. We try to help each other out when things get tough. It’s a simple way of doing business. No one here is trying to be a big boss. We just want to make sure our families are taken care of through our farming. The work is physical and sometimes the days start very early before the sun is up. That's just the life of a farmer. We aren't polished and our hands aren't always clean. But we know our business.
