Koppu Srilatha

My name is Koppu Srilatha and I am based at H No 3-57 in Pothepally village. This is part of the Veladanda Mandal area. Living here means being part of a small community where everyone is busy with their own work and family. I manage my daily tasks from this house. Whether it is handling local affairs or taking care of the work that comes through my door, I stay busy from morning until evening. Pothepally is a quiet place most of the time. You can see the fields from not too far away and the weather dictates how the day goes for us. I don't have a big staff or a corporate office. It is just me and the space I work in. People in the village know where to find me if they have a question or need something handled. I try to keep my records straight and my desk clear, though it doesn't always stay that way during the busy weeks. Life here involves a lot of talking to neighbors and keeping track of what is happening in the Mandal. It’s not a fancy life, but it is a real one. I’ve lived in this house for quite some time and I’ve seen the village change slowly over the years. We deal with the same problems as any other rural place, like the power going out or the water being slow in the taps. But we get through it and keep the work moving.
