Harijana Manikyamma

My home and workspace are located at H No 2-75/2 in Narsunoor Village. This is part of Waddepalli Mandal. I have lived in this village for a long time and everyone knows my family. I started this small business to stay busy and contribute something useful to the area. It’s a very modest setup, nothing like what you see in the big cities. I work out of a small room and sometimes the front yard when the weather allows it. There isn't a lot of equipment, just the basics that I’ve gathered over the years. I don’t follow a strict corporate schedule, but I am usually working when there is light. Life in the village is quiet and my work reflects that pace. I don't use any complicated marketing or even a big sign outside. People just know where to come when they need my help. It’s an honest way to make a living and I take pride in what I manage to finish each day. Sometimes the rains make it hard to get much done, so I just wait for the sun to come back out. I handle my own accounts and talk to customers directly. It’s a one-person operation for the most part. I just want to keep things simple and do my work without any unnecessary drama or stress. This is my life here and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. People trust me because I am a local.
