VENKATESWARA BUILDERS PRIVATE LIMITED is located on the second floor of a building in Kamaraj Nagar. It is at No 13 on 2nd Street in China Chokkikulam. If you come by, you’ll see our small office where we keep all our files and project plans. We spend a lot of time looking at site maps and talking to workers. It’s a pretty straightforward operation. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do decent work on the buildings we take on. Sometimes the office gets a bit crowded when everyone is in at the same time for a meeting, but mostly we are out and about. Building stuff is a lot of work and involves many different people, from electricians to plumbers. We spend a lot of our time making sure everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing. China Chokkikulam is a good area to be based in. There is always something happening on the streets below. We’ve had some long days here, especially when a deadline is coming up. It isn't always glamorous, and there is a lot of paperwork that people don't see. We deal with permits and regulations and all that boring stuff so the actual building can happen. It's just a regular business run by people who know the local area well. We like the fact that we can see the results of our work in the neighborhoods around us.
