Our office is over at 4, Park Road in Thirunagar Colony. It’s a fairly quiet street compared to the main roads around here. We have a small gate and a little patch of garden that we try to keep green, though the sun usually dries it out. Inside, it’s just a standard workspace with desks and chairs and a few filing cabinets. We do various types of business work here, mostly sitting at our computers and talking on the phone. The fans hum all day to keep the air moving. We have a small kitchen area where we eat our lunch and complain about the weather. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a magazine. There are marks on the walls from where furniture was moved and the carpet is a bit thin in spots. We know the neighbors and the local postman who stops by every afternoon. Sometimes we get together to figure out a problem or just to chat about what’s happening in the colony. We don't have any big corporate signs, just a small nameplate by the door. It feels more like a house that was turned into an office, which makes it feel a bit more comfortable. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and then lock up for the evening. It’s a steady pace and we like it that way. No one here is trying to be anything we're not.
