Our office is over in Madurai, specifically on East 2nd Street in K K Nagar, pincode 625 020. We are tucked right behind the ICICI building, which is how most people find us if they are visiting for the first time. It is a pretty quiet street compared to the main roads. Inside, it is mostly just rows of computers and a lot of cables. We do system work here, which means we spend a lot of time looking at screens and typing away. The Madurai heat can be pretty intense, so we keep the fans going all day long. We have a small area in the back where we keep our lunch boxes and a water cooler. It is not a big corporate office with glass walls, just a practical space where we can get our work done without too many distractions. Most of us have been working together here for quite some time, so we have a good rhythm going. In the evenings, the street gets a bit more lively as people head home. We usually pack up around six or seven, depending on how much we have left to finish. Sometimes we stay late if there is a big project, but we try to get home for dinner. It is a simple setup and it works for us. We don’t bother with anything too flashy because we would rather just focus on the systems we are building. It is a decent place to spend the day.
