Temple City Veg

Our place is on the third floor at No 3/3183 on the Ring Road in Seeman Nagar. We are right by the Pandi Kovil Junction in the Anna Nagar part of Madurai. Being on the third floor means you have to walk up or take the lift, but it gets you away from the street noise. The 625020 area is always bustling with traffic and people going to the temple. We focus on vegetarian food because that’s what we know best. The dining hall is quite large with long tables and metal chairs. It's easy to wipe them down and keep them clean. We have big fans on the ceiling to keep the air moving because Madurai gets very hot. The kitchen is always steaming with large pots of rice and sambar. We serve a lot of people every day, especially during the lunch hour. It's not a quiet place; there's always the sound of plates clattering and people talking. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just some simple frames. People come here because they want a quick and filling meal. We've been at this junction for a long time. The staff works fast because there's usually a line of people waiting. It’s just an honest, busy veg restaurant where we do our best to keep everyone fed and on their way. We start early to get the morning tiffin ready.
