Our office for Uja Export & Import Pvt. Ltd. is at Door No- 3-A on Subbu Raman Road. We’ve been based in Chimmachokkikulam for a long time. It’s a busy neighborhood and there’s always something happening outside. The office isn't very large, but it has everything we need. We have a few desks for the staff and a corner for all the files. Since we do both exports and imports, the paperwork can get a bit overwhelming sometimes. We spend our days tracking shipments and talking to customs agents. It’s a lot of coordination between different people and places. We don't have a fancy corporate culture. We are just local people who know how the trade business works. If you walk in, you might hear a few of us debating over a shipping route or a price list. It’s a very hands-on environment. We don't have a big cleaning staff, so we take turns keeping the place tidy. There’s usually a fan running to keep the heat away. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just want to make sure the goods get to where they’re going without any trouble. It’s a lot of hard work and attention to detail, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it over the years. We just keep our heads down and do the job.
