Sri Ranga Watch Mobile Service Centre

Our little spot is on Chinna Kadai Street in the Panthadi area of Madurai. If you know this part of town, you know it stays pretty busy. We have been running the Sri Ranga Watch Mobile Service Centre from this shop for a good stretch of time. It is a small space, mostly taken up by the counters and the glass cases where we keep some of the spare parts and old watches. Every morning we roll up the shutter and start looking at what needs fixing from the day before. Phones are the main thing lately, people always dropping them or getting water in the charging port. We also handle the traditional watches, the ones with the hands that move. Those are nice to work on because they are quiet. The street noise outside is constant, lots of bikes and people talking, but we just focus on the work on the bench. It is an honest way to make a living. We do not have any fancy waiting room or anything like that. People usually just drop their stuff off and come back later after they finish their shopping nearby. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the small screws have a mind of their own. It is just how it goes in a repair shop. We are just here doing the work every day except for the holidays and some Sundays.
