Our place, Ren Solar Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd., is located at 179 Vakkil New Street in the Simmakal area. Simmakal is always buzzing with activity, and our street is no different. It’s a bit of a challenge to find parking sometimes, but we’ve gotten used to the tight spaces. The building we’re in is quite old, but it has a lot of character and thick walls. We occupy a space that’s mostly filled with components, cables, and boxes. It’s not the kind of office where you’ll find fancy carpets or glass partitions. We have some heavy wooden desks and a lot of shelving for our parts. Most of the day is spent on the phone or working on technical drawings at the main table. We’re a small group, and we’ve all been working together for a long time now. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just come in, check the orders, and get to work. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually get our morning kick. It’s a practical environment where everyone knows their role. We don't have a dedicated sales person; we all just pitch in when someone walks through the door. It can get a little disorganized when we’re really busy, but we always know where everything is eventually. We just focus on getting the daily tasks finished so we can go home.
