Kalyani Enterprises

Kalyani Enterprises is situated at 151 Vakil New Street. We are right near the Chokkanathar Koil, so the sound of the temple activities is a constant part of our day. The street is quite narrow and old, which makes it a bit of a challenge for larger deliveries, but we have been here so long that we know all the tricks. We deal in various goods and supplies, and our space is mostly taken up by stock and shelving. It is a traditional kind of business where most of our transactions happen face-to-face. We don’t use any complicated software to run the place, just some ledgers and our own memory of where everything is kept. The building is an old one with thick walls, which helps a little with the heat, but we still rely on our ceiling fans to keep things comfortable. Our customers are mostly locals or other businesses from the surrounding streets who have been buying from us for years. We do not have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just open the doors in the morning and wait for the day to start. It gets very busy during festival times because of the temple nearby, and the whole street fills up with people. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the orders right and making sure the inventory stays balanced. It is a simple, honest way to make a living in this part of town.
