Raji Arts Crafts

We have been running things at No. 8 9 North Chithrai Street for quite a few years now. Our shop is located in the Senthil Lodge Building, which is right near the Meenakshi Amman Temple. Because of the location, there are always crowds of people walking by, especially tourists and pilgrims heading to the temple. We focus on various arts and crafts items, and the shop is usually filled with all sorts of supplies and finished pieces. It can get a bit disorganized when new shipments arrive, and we often have boxes stacked up in the corners. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a regular local business where we spend our days sorting through inventory and talking to customers. The building is older and has a bit of character to it. We don't really bother with big advertisements or marketing. Most people find us just by walking past on their way to the temple. The street can be very loud with all the traffic and vendors outside, but we have gotten used to the noise over time. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use flashlights to find things on the back shelves. We just try to keep things moving and get the work done. It is a simple life and we enjoy being part of this busy neighborhood. We usually open early and stay until the sun goes down. It’s not a polished operation, just a real place for craft lovers.
