Programmer

My workspace is located at 161, Alladipatti Road in Chinnakannai Nagar. This is over in Srivilliputtur, which most people know for the big temple tower and the milk sweets. It’s a bit of a distance from the main Madurai city, but I like it that way because it's quieter. The road can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, and the afternoon sun really hits the front of the building quite hard. I’ve got my computer set up in a small room that stays relatively cool compared to the rest of the house. As a Programmer, I don't need much—just a stable connection and some peace and quiet. The neighbors are friendly, mostly families who have lived here for a long time. There's no big sign outside saying what I do or any logo. It’s just a house number on a gate. Sometimes I take a break and walk down the street to get some tea or a snack from the local shop. The pace of life here is slow, which helps when you're trying to solve a tricky coding problem that takes all your focus. I don't have any staff or a fancy office with glass partitions. It’s just me, my mechanical keyboard, and whatever project I’m working on at the moment. The internet has gotten much better over the years, which makes it possible to stay here instead of moving to a big tech hub. I like being close to my roots. It’s a practical way to live and work.
