Sairam Global Exim

Down in Ponmeni Pudur, specifically at No. 8/20 on Tamil Thendral Street, you will find our small office for Sairam Global Exim. Arasaradi is a lively part of town, so there is always something happening right outside our window. We started working from here because it felt like a good spot to reach the local transport links. The building itself is older, with thick walls that keep it somewhat cool during the peak summer months. We deal with various goods that come and go, mostly focusing on the logistics side of things. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking schedules on the computer. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour, so we just sit outside on the steps and chat until the power comes back. It isn't a high-pressure corporate environment. We know our neighbors and we know the delivery drivers by their first names. The street name is quite poetic, but the work we do is very practical and down-to-earth. We don't use big words or try to act like we are some massive corporation. We are just a group of people trying to make a living by helping move products across the map. Every morning we sweep the front, open the shutters, and start the day’s tally. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday through Saturday, making sure the papers are in order and the shipments are on track.
