If you find yourself on 3rd Street in S. V. P. Nagar, you will see our shop, Pointer Systems Pheripherals. We are tucked away in Madurai-17, right near S. Amalaguru. It is a bit of a tight space inside because we have boxes of keyboards, mice, and all sorts of computer parts piled up. People around here usually come to us when their mouse stops clicking or they need a new cable for their printer. We are not a big tech giant. It is just a small shop where we try to keep the most useful things in stock. The shelves are a bit disorganized sometimes because we are always digging through them to find a specific part for a customer. Madurai can get really hot, so the small fan behind the counter is always running. We talk to a lot of students and office workers who live in the neighborhood. They just drop in, ask for what they need, and we see if we have it in the back. Sometimes we have to order things in, which takes a few days, but people do not seem to mind the wait. It is a very local way of doing things. You will not find any slick displays here, just a lot of wires and hardware. We have been on this street for a while and most of the regulars know us by name. It is just a simple business keeping people's computers running and fixing small problems.
