If you are looking for Sri Hari Export, we are over at No. 6/2 A on Kattabomman Street in the Narimedu area. It is a pretty nice part of town and we have gotten to know most of our neighbors over the years we've been here. Our operation is kept pretty simple. We take in various goods and we get them ready to be sent out to different places across the country or overseas. There is a lot of physical work involved every day, like lifting heavy boxes and moving things around the storeroom to make space. We have a small desk where we keep all the paper records, and it’s usually covered in little notes and reminders. The light in the office gets a bit dim in the late afternoons, but it stays relatively cool inside, which is a big relief during the summer months. Kattabomman Street can get a bit crowded during the school hours, so we try to time our logistics and truck movements around those peaks to avoid getting stuck. We aren't some big corporation with hundreds of employees; we are just a small group of people who know how to get things shipped properly. We don’t use any complex computer systems, just a lot of common sense and a good memory for where everything is kept in the back.
