Muthurajengineering

Our shop is at 105, Palam Station Road over in Goripalayam. Being near the station means there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. Muthurajengineering has been operating from this building for a good bit of time. It’s a straightforward setup with the main work area right as you walk in. We do a lot of metal work and repairs, so the floor is usually covered in shavings or scraps by noon. We try to sweep up before heading home, but it never stays clean for long. The heat can get pretty bad in the afternoons, especially with the machines running, so we keep the fans going as much as possible. Most of our neighbors are also in trade, so we all know each other. It’s a decent place to work if you don't mind the grit. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If someone stops by, they usually just shout for one of us from the front. We handle the paperwork on a small desk in the corner that’s buried under drawings and old invoices. It’s just how we operate. The work is steady, and we like the rhythm of the trains passing by. It reminds us that things are always moving. We don’t do much advertising; people just find us by walking down Palam Station Road when they need something made or fixed properly.
