S T Hitech Engineering Works

S T Hitech Engineering Works is located at No.4, Avvaiyar 3rd Street in the Vellanathan Patti area of Melur, Madurai. It’s a local shop where we do a lot of metalwork and engineering tasks. If you come by, you’ll likely hear the sound of welding or cutting before you even see the sign. It’s a dusty place because of all the grinding we do, but that’s just the nature of the job. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years. They know the machines inside out. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a shiny office. It’s just a workshop with a lot of heavy equipment and raw materials stacked in the corners. Madurai gets very hot, so we usually start early in the morning to get the heavy lifting done before the sun is too high. Our space is on a quiet street, but we stay busy with local projects and repairs. We don’t use any complicated systems for our daily tasks; we just write things down and get to work. Most of our tools have some wear and tear, but they’re reliable for what we do. It’s honest work, and we take it one day at a time. If someone has a part that needs fixing or a frame that needs building, they bring it over to Avvaiyar 3rd Street. We just do what needs to be done without any extra talk. That's just how we operate. Most days, the tea stall nearby is where we take our breaks.
