Our office is out in New Vilangudi, over in Madurai. The pincode is 625018. If you’ve been to Madurai, you know it can get really hot, so we are thankful for the fans and the air conditioning in the office. Keane India Pvt Ltd has been based here for a while. It’s a decent-sized space, but it’s nothing like those giant tech parks you see in the bigger cities. We have our desks, some old partitions, and a small area where we keep our lunch boxes. The vibe here is pretty relaxed. We don't have a dress code or anyone breathing down our necks about corporate rules. We just have a list of things that need to be done and we do them. Most of our day is spent on the computer or in small meetings around a desk. We talk a lot about the projects we are working on, but it’s all very practical stuff. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just trying to provide a good service to the people who need it. The area around New Vilangudi is okay, though there isn't much to do during lunch breaks besides getting some food nearby. We are a small team and we’ve worked together for a long time, so we know how to stay out of each other's way. It’s just a quiet, steady place to work in a historic city.
