Gr Export Co.

You can find us at Plot No. 33 on Park Town 1st Street in the P & T Nagar area. It’s a nice enough part of town, mostly residential, so it stays fairly calm during the day. We have been running Gr Export Co. from this address for several years. Our workspace is just a couple of rooms that we’ve set up with desks and filing cabinets. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of people. It’s just three of us here doing the daily work. We coordinate with different suppliers and then handle all the logistics to get the goods exported. Madurai is known for being very hot, so the office can get pretty stuffy by the afternoon. We usually keep the fans on full blast. We don't have a marketing team or any fancy brochures. Most of our business comes from long-term contacts we’ve made over the years. It involves a lot of checking documents and making sure everything matches up with what the shipping agents need. Sometimes the delivery trucks have trouble finding our street since it’s tucked away in Park Town, so we have to go out and wave them down. It’s a simple, hands-on way of doing things. We just focus on getting the shipments out on time and keeping the records straight. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we know and we're used to it.
