Fshs Unity Of Group is situated at No.- 5/590 on Kambar Street, which is part of the Ngo Colony just off Madurai Road. Being located near Madurai Road means we get a lot of traffic passing by, but Kambar Street itself is a bit more settled. Our office at 5/590 is a modest space. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. It’s just a place where we gather to manage the day’s work. Most of the time, we’re out and about or dealing with people who stop in from the colony. Ngo Colony has a good feel to it, and we’ve gotten to know the people who live and work around here. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It’s more about the practical side of things. We keep a pot of tea going most mornings, and that’s usually when we plan out what needs to happen. Some days are slower than others, which gives us a chance to catch up on the bookkeeping. Other days, it’s a constant stream of phone calls and visitors. We just take it as it comes. The walls in the office could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized. It’s a local operation, run by people who live right here in this part of town and know the streets well.
