Exporter

We've been here at No. 5 East Last Street for a while now. Anna Nagar is a busy place, but our little corner is a bit quieter than the main roads. It's just a regular office where we handle the exporting stuff. Some days are packed with paperwork and phone calls, and other days we just sit around waiting for things to move. We don't have fancy signs or anything like that. It’s just us, the desks, and a couple of ceiling fans that have seen better days. You know how it is in this part of town, the traffic gets a bit much around five, but we’re usually deep in work by then. Being an exporter isn't as glamorous as the name might sound to some people. It’s mostly checking lists and making sure things get where they need to go on time. Sometimes the internet acts up, or the electricity goes out for an hour, and we just take a break then. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of this street. There’s a tea shop not far from here where we get our morning fix. It’s a plain setup, nothing special to look at from the outside. We just focus on getting the crates moved and the invoices sorted. Most people just walk past No. 5 without thinking twice, and that suits us just fine. We just do our thing here every day, Monday through Saturday, and try to keep things moving along without too much fuss.
