Lionhead Export & Import

Lionhead Export & Import is based at No. 32/59 Velar Street in Arapalayam, Madurai. This is a very traditional part of town, and the office reflects that. We are located in a simple building on a street that gets quite dusty and hot during the dry season. The neighborhood is full of small businesses and families who have been here for generations. Our setup isn't anything special to look at—just some sturdy tables, chairs, and a lot of filing cabinets. We do a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to the logistics of moving products out of the country. It’s a lot of phone calls to the coast and sorting out transport trucks. The pace can be slow one minute and then completely frantic the next when a deadline is approaching. We usually have the door open to catch a breeze, and you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. We don't use any fancy software or high-end equipment; we just use what works and keep our records straight. It’s a very hands-on way to run a business. We know our neighbors and we know the local transporters. We aren't trying to be a global giant, we just want to do honest work and stay busy. It’s a simple life here in Arapalayam, and that’s how we like to keep our business running too.
