Amar Tek

We’ve been here at 63, Sellamani Street for a while now. Vandiyur is a decent spot to work out of, even if the traffic gets a bit much some afternoons. We usually start early at Amar Tek. It's just us in the office most days, dealing with whatever comes through the door. The street is pretty narrow, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes for folks stopping by. We mostly just keep our heads down and get through the list of things to do. There’s a tea stall not far away where we usually end up around eleven. It’s not fancy, just a regular place with some desks and plenty of paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out or find something else to tidy up. Being in Vandiyur means we see a lot of the same faces every week. It’s nice knowing the neighbors and the other shop owners around here. We don’t really do big meetings or anything like that. Usually, it’s just a phone call or someone popping in to check on their stuff. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the back room gets a bit messy with all the gear and boxes. It’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We’ve got a small sign out front so people can find us on Sellamani Street. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we need to do every day.
