Ukp Exports

Ukp Exports is located in House No. 12-2-3 on Amman Kovil 2nd Cross Street. We are in the Oormetchikulam area, near Samayanallur Post. It’s actually a house that we’ve turned into our office space. This gives it a very different feel from a regular commercial building. It’s comfortable and quiet, which we like. There are no big signs or bright lights. Most people wouldn't even know it’s a business from the outside. Inside, we have our desks and computers set up in the main rooms. We spend our time managing export orders. This involves a lot of phone calls and checking on suppliers. It’s a small operation, so everyone does a bit of everything. We don't have a boss who sits in a private office. We all work together in the same space. Sometimes we can hear the neighbors outside or the sound of the temple nearby. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't use a lot of fancy business talk. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized. There’s always a lot of tea and conversation throughout the day. We aren't looking to grow into a giant corporation. We just want to do our job well and keep things running smoothly. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in our own neighborhood.
