Our shop is in Ward No-5 of Pathrahi, which is under the Jhanjharpur post office area. We are located quite close to Max Hospital, so that is usually the landmark we tell people to look for. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, though it gets a bit more active during the day when people are heading to the hospital. At Sri Laxmi, we deal with computers and security stuff, so our space is often filled with cameras, wires, and various monitors. It’s not a big showroom or anything; it’s more like a workshop where things are constantly being tested or fixed. We have a few benches set up for working on the hardware. The weather out here in Pathrahi can be quite hot, so we usually keep the shutters partially down to stay cool. We’ve lived around here our whole lives, so we know just about everyone who walks past the shop. It’s a very local operation, and we don't really have a formal way of doing things. We just handle whatever security or computer problems come our way. Most of the time, we are out and about visiting sites, but someone is usually at the shop to mind the desk. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in this part of the district. We just try to be helpful to the people around us and keep our tools organized.
