Vas & Co., Chartered Accountants, Ludhiana

Our place is over in Chander Nagar, Civil Lines, at address B-34/1250. Civil Lines is a nice part of Ludhiana, and we’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us by now. We are a small firm of chartered accountants, and our office reflects that. It’s filled with the smell of old paper and the sound of keyboards clicking away all day long. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything. It's just a few of us who know how to handle tax filings and audits. We’ve seen the rules change so many times it makes your head spin, but we just keep updating our books and moving forward. Some of our clients have been coming to us for decades, and we’ve seen their kids grow up and take over their businesses. That’s the nice thing about being in an area like this. We don’t try to impress anyone with expensive office decor. We’d rather spend our time making sure the numbers are accurate. The desks are usually covered in ledger books and legal notices, and there’s always a half-finished cup of tea sitting somewhere. It might look a bit disorganized to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is. We just enjoy the work and the people we meet. It’s a steady life here in Ludhiana, and we’re happy to be a part of it.
