You can find us at 161 in Ladhowal, Ludhiana. Mpk & Co. is a small chartered accountancy firm, and we have been here in this area for a good bit of time. Ludhiana is a busy place for business, so there is always someone needing help with their books or their tax filings. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with plenty of calculators, paper stacks, and computers. We spend a lot of our time looking at numbers and making sure everything adds up the way it should. It is quiet work for the most part, though things get very hectic when tax season rolls around. We have local traders and individuals from the neighborhood who stop by to drop off their receipts or just to ask a quick question about a new rule. We try to explain things in plain English because not everyone understands the technical side of accounting. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us here doing the work. Sometimes we stay late to finish a report, and other times we might close a bit early if the work is done. It is a very normal, local office. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and talk to whoever is available at their desk.
