Chatley & Associates Chartered Accountants is based on Old Court Road in the Civil Lines area of Ludhiana. You can find us right opposite the Dewan Gas Company. It’s a busy part of town but we’ve managed to keep our space fairly organized. We deal with audits, tax returns, and general accounting. People stop by when they have a problem with their books or need help with a filing deadline. We are at 1299/1, which is easy enough to spot if you’re looking for the gas company across the street. Most of our day is spent at desks, typing away or talking to people about their finances. It’s not glamorous work, but it is necessary for keeping a business running. We have a mix of regular clients and new faces who walk in because they saw the sign. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed, even when things get busy during tax season. We don't use much fancy software that we can't explain; we just stick to what works. Our team has been together for a bit, so we know how each other works. Civil Lines is a good spot for us because it’s central. Sometimes the traffic on Old Court Road is a bit much, but it’s a good location otherwise. We just try to be helpful and get the numbers right for everyone who walks through the door. No big speeches or corporate talk here, just accounting.
