Swastik Traders

Setting up Swastik Traders on G. T. Road in Miller Ganj seemed like a good idea because of all the traffic passing through. It gets really loud out there with all the trucks and horns going off all day, but you get used to it after a week or two. We handle a lot of different supplies and materials. It’s a bit cramped in the office because we have boxes piled up everywhere. I usually sit near the front desk and my brother stays in the back checking the orders coming in. We don't really do much advertising. People just stop by because they’re driving past or they work in one of the workshops nearby. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon and we just sit outside on stools until it comes back on. It’s not a polished operation. We just try to keep track of what people owe us and what we owe our suppliers. The floor is concrete and it’s seen better days, honestly. We’ve got a small kettle for making tea when customers come in to talk about a price. Most of the day is just spent waiting for deliveries or helping someone load a small pickup truck. It’s a living. Miller Ganj is a busy place to be, and there is always something moving on the road. We stay open until the sun goes down usually and then head home.
