Swarn Theatre

Running Swarn Theatre is a lot of work but we have been at it for some time. You can find us over at Focal Point Gannappa Garden Coconut Avenue Road Sherpur Chowk. It is a bit of a long address but locals know the spot near Sherpur Chowk. The theater has been part of the landscape here for years. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after shows and making sure the projector is behaving. It is not one of those modern multiplexes with shiny glass everywhere. It is just Swarn Theatre, a place where people come to watch a movie and relax for a bit. The seats have seen a lot of use but they do the job. We see all kinds of people coming through the doors every day. Sometimes the lobby gets noisy when a big group arrives. We do not have a big corporate team, just a few of us making sure things run. We usually keep the lights low and the sound up. If you are heading down Coconut Avenue Road, you will see us there. It gets busy on weekends when families have time off. We just try to keep the doors open and the films playing. Focal Point is a busy area so there is always something going on outside. We are just glad to be a small part of this neighborhood. Swarn Theatre is just what it is and nothing more.
