R.S. Hydraulics

R.S. Hydraulics is tucked away on Street Number 13 in Dashmesh Nagar, right off Gill Road. If you know Ludhiana, you know that Gill Road is always packed with traffic and the sound of horns. We’ve been in this spot for a long time now. The shop is filled with the smell of hydraulic oil and the sound of heavy metal being moved around. It’s a bit of a crowded street, so finding a place to park a tractor or a truck can be a bit of a challenge some days. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning; we just have our workbenches and our tools. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, but that’s just how a real hydraulic shop looks. Most of the guys here have grease on their hands by ten in the morning. We drink a lot of tea to keep ourselves going, especially when the Punjab winters get really cold. The neighbors are mostly other small workshops, so there’s always someone popping in to borrow a wrench or just to chat for a minute. We don’t really do things the corporate way. If a job comes in, we look at it, figure out how to fix it, and get it done. It’s a practical life here in Ludhiana, and we’re just glad to be a part of the local buzz on Gill Road.
