A-One Spare Centre

Our place is located at 123 Kochar Market Road, right at the 3rd cross. It’s a busy part of the market, so there’s always someone walking in asking for a part we might have. We deal in all sorts of spares, mostly for appliances and small machines. The shop is packed with boxes from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it takes me a minute to find the right box, but I usually know exactly where it is. It’s a bit of a maze in here. I started this after working in a repair shop for a decade. I figured it was better to be the guy selling the parts. We don’t have air conditioning, just a big ceiling fan that rattles a bit. In the summer, it gets quite warm, but we keep the door open. Customers are mostly local repairmen who need something quickly to finish a job. We don’t do any fancy marketing. We just try to have the stuff people need. Sometimes we have to order things in, but mostly we have it on the shelf. The counter is old wood and has scratches from all the metal parts we've slid across it. It’s a simple shop. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. Just a place to get your spares and get on with your day.
