Ritu Creations

Our place is tucked away at No. 2476 in Kishore Nagar. If you know Samrala Chowk, you know it can get pretty hectic around there, but our street is a bit quieter. Ritu Creations has been operating out of this spot for a good bit of time. It’s mostly just us working on different projects throughout the day. The building is older, and the stairs creak a bit when you walk up. We spend a lot of our time sitting at the tables, focusing on what’s in front of us. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s part of the routine here. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights. Most people find us because they live in the neighborhood or someone told them where we are. We keep the windows open when the weather is nice to let a breeze in, though the dust from the main road sometimes finds its way inside. It’s a simple way of living. We have our tea in the morning and get to work. There’s always something to fix or a new project to start on the bench. We aren’t trying to be the biggest place around. We just like having our own space here in Kishore Nagar to do what we do. It feels like home after all these years of working in this same little corner.
