Ritu Collections

We’ve been here on Govt. College Road for a while now. It’s always busy with students and folks heading to work. Ritu Collections is just a small place, really. We open up early most mornings, sweep the front, and get things ready. Sometimes the traffic is loud, but you get used to it. We just do our work day by day. The shop has seen a lot of seasons. When it rains, we have to move things inside quickly. It's not a fancy setup. Just some shelves and a counter where we sit. Most people who come in live nearby or study at the college. We know a lot of them by name. It’s nice having that connection. My cousin helped me set up the signs years ago. They’re a bit faded now, but they do the job. We don’t spend much on decorating. We just keep the stock organized and try to keep the dust off. The afternoon sun hits the window pretty hard, so we usually keep the shade down then. It's just a regular life here. Nothing too special about it, just a shop on a busy street trying to get through the week. We close up when the street lights come on. It’s been a long journey since we first opened these doors. We don't have a big team or anything, just us making sure things run okay. That's how it is.
