Rajeev Sadher

Rajeev Sadher is the name, and I work out of 71-I in Krishna Nagar, Ludhiana. This part of the city is always full of life. My place is right in the middle of it all. It’s a straightforward setup. I don't have a big staff or any complicated systems. It’s mostly just me at my desk, surrounded by books and folders. I’ve lived and worked in Ludhiana for a long time, so I’m used to the pace here. The street outside 71-I can get quite noisy with the traffic and the local vendors, but I find it comforting in a way. I don't have a fancy reception area. If someone comes to see me, they just pull up a chair and we talk. The room stays fairly cool because of the old thick walls, which is a relief in the summer months. I try to keep things organized, but sometimes the paperwork gets ahead of me. I spend my afternoons drinking chai and making sure I haven't missed any details in my work. Krishna Nagar is a good place for a small business because everyone knows everyone else. I don't feel the need for a big office in a tall building. This room has everything I need to stay busy. I usually stay until late evening before closing up. It’s just a regular local business run by a regular person who knows the value of a day’s work. Nothing more, nothing less than that.
