Punjab Textile Engineering Works is over on Ganesh Nagar Road. If you are looking for us, we are in the backside of Janakpuri, specifically on Street No. 9. It’s a bit of a hidden spot, not right on the main drag, but we’ve been here long enough that people who need textile work usually find their way to us. The shop itself is a working environment, so it’s full of heavy machines, scrap metal, and that lingering smell of oil. It’s definitely not the kind of place that’s meant for showing off. We just focus on the engineering and the repair work. There isn't a whole lot to say about why we started or what we plan to do next. We just knew how to work with these machines, so we opened up the shop. The staff here are all practical people who have been using their hands for a long time. We don't bother with fancy advertising or social media much. Most of our customers come from around Ganesh Nagar because they’ve heard about us from a neighbor. Street No. 9 is usually pretty quiet, which is nice because it lets us get on with the repairs without too many distractions. We just take each day as it comes and try to make sure every machine that leaves here is working like it should. It’s basic work, but it’s what we do best.
