Partap Engineering Corporation is based in Ludhiana, right on Street Number 1 in Preet Nagar. Our address is 1705/D-A, and it’s a typical Ludhiana workshop. If you know this city, you know how busy the streets get with all the engineering work happening everywhere. We have been here in this spot for many years. The building has seen better days, but the machines inside are what matter. We do a lot of metal work and the sound of hammers and drills is just part of the background noise. Our floor is usually covered in metal shavings by midday. We try to sweep up, but it just piles up again. The guys here have been doing this for a long time. Some of them learned the trade right in this shop. We don't have a big fancy office for meetings; we usually just talk over the noise of the machines or stand outside on the street for a bit. Preet Nagar is full of places like ours, so there is always someone nearby if we need a specific tool or some help. It’s a tough environment but it’s what we know. We just focus on the engineering tasks that come in and try to stay on schedule. It is honest work and we don't try to make it sound like anything else.
