Apex Engineering Works

We've been at 9631/1, Street No. 18 for a long time now. Most days it’s just us here working through whatever jobs come in. Apex Engineering Works isn't a fancy place with a lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just metal, tools, and the sound of the machines running. Street No. 18 gets pretty crowded during the day, so getting stuff in and out can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We usually start early before the sun gets too hot. My hands are usually covered in oil by ten in the morning, which is just how it goes in this line of work. There’s a tea stall nearby that we walk to when we need a break. It's nothing special to look at from the outside, just a workshop where things get fixed or made. People know where to find us if they need something done. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just sit around and wait for it to come back on. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how the machines work. We try to keep things organized but it gets messy when we are busy. That's just the way it is here. We focus on the work right in front of us and try to get it out the door. It’s a bit dusty, and the floor is never really clean, but it's where we spend our days.
