Nritya The School Of Dance

We are located at House Number 991/1 on Street No-7/2 in Harcharan Nagar, just off Samrala Road. It’s very much a residential neighborhood, so the place feels like a home as much as a school to us. We use the ground floor for the classes. It’s not a huge area, but it’s enough for the small groups we have. We started this because there wasn't much else around here for dancing. We didn't want to travel far to find a place to practice, and neither did our neighbors. So, we set up this space for everyone. It’s got a bit of a lived-in feel to it. There are always shoes piled up by the door and a few water bottles left on the benches by the students. We don't have a professional cleaning crew, so we just sweep up the floor ourselves at the end of every day. It’s simple and it works for what we need. The street outside can be a bit narrow, so we often tell people to be careful with where they park their cars. Most people just walk over from their houses anyway. We have a regular routine that hasn't changed much in the last few years. We teach, we practice, and we talk to the parents when they come to pick up their kids in the evenings. It’s a very casual environment for everyone involved. We don't use fancy terms or have a big corporate structure. It’s just us, some music, and a room with enough space to move around. That’s really all we need.
