Dancing Crew

We've been here on Chandigarh Road at number 542 for a while now. It started as just a few of us wanting a place to move around without hitting the furniture at home. The space isn't huge, but it works for what we do. Most days the music is going from early morning until late. You can usually hear us from the street before you even see the door. The floor gets pretty scuffed up because of all the shoes, but we try to mop it every couple of days. People from around the neighborhood drop by, sometimes just to watch or ask about the noise. It’s a bit loud, yeah, but that's just how a dance crew operates. We have some old mirrors on the wall that we found second-hand. They’re a bit tilted. The fans hum a lot in the summer heat, but nobody really minds once they start moving. It’s not fancy. There’s a small bench by the entrance where people leave their bags and water bottles in a big pile. Sometimes the speakers act up and we have to wiggle the wires to get the bass back. It is just a place for people who like to dance to come and spend their time. We don't have a big front desk or anything like that. Usually, someone is just standing there near the door when you walk in. It's simple and it gets the job done for us.
