New Kalgidhar Machine Tools

If you go to 621-B in Industrial Area-B, that’s where you’ll find us. New Kalgidhar Machine Tools is basically just a workshop where we spend most of our waking hours. The industrial area is a tough place, lots of smoke and metal noise, but it’s where we belong. Our shop is filled with the smell of cutting oil and the sound of steel being worked on. We have a few old machines that have been with us for a long time, and they still do the job just fine. The floor is concrete and always has a few oil spots here and there, no matter how much we sweep. We don’t have a receptionist or anything; usually, whoever isn’t busy with a machine just walks over to talk to the customers. It’s a simple setup. We wear our work boots and heavy shirts because that’s what the job needs. Some days are long, especially when a machine breaks down or we have a big pile of parts to get through before the weekend. We don't have any big corporate goals, we just want to keep the shop running and do right by the people who trust us with their work. The neighborhood is full of people just like us, so there’s a bit of a community feel among the different workshops. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. The industrial area never sleeps, but we close up when we're finally tired.
