Neenas Creation

Neenas Creation is located in the Sant Ishwar Singh Flats, which everyone around here just calls the Pink Flats. We are at number 39-sf. Being on Pakhowal Road is handy because it is a major part of town, but since we are in a flat, it feels more private. It is not a big showroom with large windows. It is more like a workshop inside a home. We have sewing machines set up in one room and tables for cutting fabric in another. You can usually hear the hum of the machines from the hallway. We do a lot of custom work here. People bring us their ideas and we try to make them into something real. It is a lot of measuring, pinning, and stitching. Sometimes we make mistakes and have to start over, which is frustrating but part of the job. The Pink Flats are a well-known landmark, so people do not usually get lost trying to find us. We do not have a lot of walk-in traffic like a mall. Most people call us first or come because a friend told them about the flat. It is a bit cramped with all the thread and cloth scraps lying around. We try to keep it tidy, but when we are busy, things get messy fast. It is just a small team of us working here. We enjoy the quiet of the residential block while we work on our creations.
