Nanda Stationery Bhandar

If you have ever been down to the Books Market, you know how crowded and loud it can get with all the stalls and people looking for things to read. Our place, Nanda Stationery Bhandar, is right in the middle of all that chaos. We have stacks of notebooks, pens, and all sorts of paper goods piled up on the shelves. It is the kind of shop where you have to move things out of the way just to get to the back. We have been part of this market for a long time, and we have seen students grow up and bring their own kids back for school supplies. The air in here always smells a bit like new paper and ink. It is a small space, but we know exactly where every single pencil and eraser is kept. Most of our day is spent helping people find specific items for their offices or schools. It gets very busy during the start of the school terms, and we barely have time to sit down then. When it is quieter, we sit on the wooden stools out front and talk to the other shopkeepers in the market. It is a very traditional way of doing business, without any computers or fancy systems. We just use our ledgers and keep track of everything by hand. It is a bit messy and loud, but it is home to us.
