Friends Stationery

Friends Stationery is located right near the PCTE Campus 2, so we see a lot of students all the time. It’s a small shop but we pack a lot of stuff into the shelves. We have stacks of notebooks, all kinds of pens, and those big drawing sheets that the architecture students always need. The morning rush is usually the busiest time when everyone realizes they forgot a pen or needs a last-minute photocopy. The machine is pretty old and makes a lot of noise, but it still works most of the time. We try to keep everything in order, but it’s hard when the shop gets full of people. My hands usually have a bit of ink on them by the afternoon. We also keep some basic snacks and cold water because the students are always looking for something to eat between classes. We don't have a computer to track everything, just a simple ledger where we write things down. It’s a bit old-fashioned but it works for us. We’ve been here for a while and have seen many groups of students graduate and move on. It’s a good feeling to be part of their daily routine. The shop can be a bit messy with boxes of new stock waiting to be opened, but we get to it when we can. It is just a regular local shop trying to keep up with the campus life.
