Modern Boutique And Exclusive

We are over at 140/10 on Street No. 2 in G.T.B Nagar, right off the Chandigarh Road. It is a small boutique where we spend our days surrounded by rolls of fabric and spools of thread of every color. The floor is usually covered in little snips of cloth and pins that we have to be careful not to step on when we are moving around. We have a few sewing machines that hum all day long, and the sound becomes sort of like background music after a while. People come in with ideas for what they want to wear, and we spend time measuring and cutting until things look right. It is a lot of sitting and focused work, so our backs get a bit stiff by the end of the day. The light in the shop isn't always the best, so we have a few extra lamps sitting around the work tables to help us see the stitches. G.T.B Nagar is a lively area, and we often see the same faces passing by the window every morning while we are opening up. We don’t have a fancy window display, just whatever we are currently working on hanging up for people to see. It is a simple setup, but it works for us. We just focus on the fabric and making sure the work is solid. It is quiet work for the most part, except when the machines are running or someone is trying on a new outfit.
