Maini Cament Store is located at Shop No - 78 on New Shivpuri Road. We are directly opposite the Punjab National Bank, so we’re easy to spot if you’re in the neighborhood. Dealing with cement is a very dusty and physical job. Every day involves moving heavy bags, and by the end of it, everything we own is covered in a fine grey powder. The shop isn't fancy at all. It’s just a practical space where we store the stock and handle the daily sales. We have been here for quite some time now and have seen the street change quite a bit. We don't do any big promotions or have a sales team. It is just us and a few loaders who help with the heavy lifting. Customers usually come in with their own transport to pick up a few bags for their home repairs. Sometimes the big trucks come in the middle of the night to drop off a fresh load, and we have to be there to count the bags and get them inside. It’s not the easiest way to make a living, but it keeps us busy. We know the local contractors well and they often stop by for a chat while we’re loading their stuff. We just try to keep enough stock so we don't have to turn anyone away when they are in the middle of a project.
