Mahaveer Physiotherapy & Slimming Clinic is over at 5433/2 in New Tagore Nagar. It’s a local spot where we have all the mats and machines spread out. The room smells a bit like rubber and cleaning spray most of the time. We spend the day helping people through their exercises. You can hear the hum of the machines and the sound of people counting their reps. It’s a lot of repetitive movement, but that’s how it goes. We have some mirrors on the walls so people can see what they are doing. The floor is covered in those foam tiles to make it easier on the knees. In the slimming part of the clinic, we have some different equipment, and we spend time talking to folks about their routines. New Tagore Nagar is a decent area, and we get a lot of regulars who come in every week. Sometimes the music we play is a bit boring, but it keeps things moving. We’ve got a small area where people can change their clothes or leave their bags. It’s not a fancy gym; it’s more of a place where people come to do the hard work of getting better. We handle the scheduling ourselves, so the phone is usually ringing while we are in the middle of a session. It keeps us on our toes.
