Jatinder Gupta

My name is Jatinder Gupta and I have been based at Aarti Chowk for a long time now. This is a very well-known intersection, so there is never a quiet moment outside the window. You can hear the traffic and the horns from early morning until late at night. My workspace is pretty modest. I have a desk that is usually covered in folders and a few old pens that I keep meaning to throw away. It is not the most organized place, but I know where everything is. I spend a lot of my time talking to people who come in for advice or to get some paperwork sorted out. I don't really do much in the way of advertising because people in the neighborhood already know I am here. It is a lot of reading and writing, which can be a bit slow sometimes. I usually keep a small fan on my desk because it gets stuffy in here during the summer months. There is a tea stall just around the corner, and I usually have a few cups brought over during the day to keep me going. It is a very routine kind of life, but I enjoy being in the middle of all the action at the chowk. I don't have a big team of people working for me, it is mostly just me handling things as they come. I try to be helpful to whoever walks through the door, and that is about it.
