Our office is tucked away in Durga Puri, over in the Haibowal Kalan area of Ludhiana. Jain & Anil Sood started here because it's a decent neighborhood and close to where many of our clients live. The address is B-34, 4292, and it's easy to spot once you get onto the main road in the colony. We handle the usual accounting stuff that people need help with. It’s mostly tax returns and helping small businesses keep their books straight so the government doesn't come knocking. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It's just a small team of us. The office can get a bit cluttered during March when everyone remembers their taxes at the last minute. We spend a lot of time on our computers and talking on the phone to the tax department. Punjab has its own way of doing business, and we've grown used to it over the years. We’ve seen Haibowal Kalan change quite a bit since we set up shop. Most people find us through word of mouth. We don't do much advertising at all. We just show up, do the work, and hope the electricity doesn't go out for too long. It’s a practical place for practical work. Nothing more, nothing less. If you need to drop off documents, we're usually here during normal hours. Our desks might be messy, but we know where every single paper is located.
